A resource as precious as the land of High Desert demands utmost sensitivity. Years of exacting planning and design have been applied to create an active community within this delicate ecosystem. The Guidelines for Sustainability for High Desert, along with the comprehensive Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions, prescribe design and building standards critical for our community to truly be sustainable. They also serve to manage growth, enhance property values and preserve the unique qualities of every home. These guidelines are provided as a starting point for home owners and builders and are available at the High Desert Information Center.
